Together on our journey
It is 17 years since I first began my connection as a volunteer with Alin Beit Noam – an exceptional, not-for-profit, NGO, and above all, a pioneer in its field. Today, I am a member of the Executive Committee and dedicate a considerable amount of my time to promoting this organization.
Beit Noam is a place that works with adults with severe physical and cognitive disabilities, individuals for whom fate has been less than favorable. Beit Noam makes it possible for them to live their lives as independently and respectably as possible and to maximize their capabilities, in keeping with the highest of standards.
There are many non-profit organizations, but Beit Noam is one-of-a-kind.
Alin Beit Noam has begun establishing a new neighborhood, a breakthrough residential concept, which includes housing and occupational facilities, education, sports, leisure time programming, etc., intended for individuals with and without disabilities. The neighborhood is already under construction in Ilanot Forest, Kadima. It qualifies as a world class example of how people with disabilities are truly included, harmoniously, in the community, and with mutual respect.
On March 27, 2019, we are having a bike ride to raise funds for ensuring our vision be reality, and to help Alin Beit Noam continue with its amazing work.
You know me – I do not ask indiscriminately; however, like last year, I need your help again this year. In order to participate in the bike ride, I ask you to join me. Together we can raise funds for Alin Beit Noam. Each of you can contribute according to your means and as you see fit. Last year, I almost reached ILS 20,000. This year, I really want to exceed that amount.
With our contributions, we will help Alin Beit Noam continue to operate its diverse, high quality services compatible with the needs of people with severe physical and cognitive disabilities, based on accepting them as individuals entitled to an equal opportunity to live complete and gratifying lives – and most important, to live as part of the community. And this serves the betterment of the State of Israel.
Thank you!
With love for all of you,
Adam
