Together on our journey
Ride Kadima 2020 to raise funds for clients of Alin Beit Noam is happening on March 27, 2020. Please join me in making this year, 2020, the year of our vision, for making the neighborhood of unlimited possibilities a reality. Imagine Ride Kadima 2021 taking place with the neighborhood facilities already open to the public.
Construction is underway so it could happen. We still need considerable funding to finish construction and open the neighborhood to residents and its facilities to the region surrounding the Ilanot Forest in Kadima-Zoran. The government of Israel is a major funder and generous philanthropists help with gifts – large and small. Please join in the effort.
Envision reverse inclusion in action, and help to make sure we can all see it next year. Reverse inclusion is when the future residents of the neighborhood, those with disability, will include their neighbors, those without disability in adjacent residential units.
With universal design as the guiding architectural principle, everyone in the community, together, will have equal and shared access to sports facilities, arts and culture venues, public health clinics, the outdoor park, and everything the neighborhood will offer. The rest of the region can enjoy these services too.
As this vision assumes its full dimensions, its ripple effect will take us forward, like Ride Kadima, and as we focus our vision on the highest resolutions, like a multiplier of pixels, we shall contribute to a society where the clearest of images is the image of equality for people with disability, who are people, like you and me.
Together, we can contribute to Alin Beit Noam in anticipation of the bike ride on March 27, 2020. Consider a gift as you see fit; we can reach my modest, personal goal of ILS 3,000 to add to the success of the Ride Kadima campaign, and we can soar high above.
